Sid Bundy joined the College of Business at TN Tech in 2017. She earned a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, where she trained as a financial and audit archival researcher. Her dissertation focused on applying bankruptcy models to going concern predictions in the audit setting. She also holds an MBA and M.A.T. (Master of Arts in Teaching) from Morehead State University.  Bundy spent her early career in public accounting as an auditor. Her audit experience focused on not-for-profits and financial institutions with special projects on a fraud team. She left public accounting to enter education where she taught basic and intermediate accounting courses as an adjunct at Midway College and at the secondary level before pursuing her Ph.D.  At TN Tech, she primarily teaches in the MBA and MAcc program: Accounting Information for Management Decisions, Financial Statement Analysis, and Advanced Audit.
