Bio
Yolunda Nabors, Senior Lecturer of economics, received her Master of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Economics from Jones College of Business.  She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, a selective Honor Society.  Ms. Nabors is a passionate educator who seeks to inspire and engage her students in all things economics through an enthusiastic pedagogy. She is the recipient of the College of Business 2018 Kinslow Award for Excellence in Teaching.  Her research interests are labor economics, industrial organization, education, behavioral economics, and footprint analysis.  Her most recent and ongoing project examines the impact of Tennessee Tech University on the Upper Cumberland region.  She also serves as faculty advisor for S.A.L.T. Campus Ministry, a student-led organization.
