My research focuses on plant systematics (evolutionary relationships and taxonomy), specifically within the passion flowers (Passiflora). I am interested in tracing changes in plant development, morphology, and anatomy within an evolutionary context. I am especially interested in how molecular changes in gene expression lead to novel phenotypes.
