Dr. Ablamowicz retired after the Spring 2019 semester. She taught Intercultural Communication, Persuasion, Interpersonal Communication, Semiotics, and Public Speaking. She was the advisor and director of the Speech Communication program.

She earned a Ph.D. in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University and is an International Communicology Institute fellow.
