About

Cale Koester is a Senior Lecturer of Educational Technology in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the College of Education at Tennessee Tech University. His focus is on teaching and training pre-service teachers in the creative, thoughtful, and effective integration of technology into the K-12 curriculum. His research and outreach interests include digital media project-based learning, digital literacy and fluency, comparative and cross-cultural education, and computer science education. He has provided presentations and workshops in these areas at the local, state, and national conference level. In addition, he is the director of Tennessee Tech's Ghanaian Drumming Ensemble, and led students from the College of Education and the School of Music on a service learning trip to a rural village in Ghana, West Africa.
