A native of Akron, Ohio, Liz Higbie is an accomplished marketing management professional with over 15+ years of results-driven experience. She began her career in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she worked in promotions and special event management before becoming the Director of Marketing for a start-up company, where she developed and implemented their marketing plan which contributed to exponential business growth. Liz also has experience as a small business owner and most recently as East TN Coordinator for the grant funded Tennessee Highway Safety Office Child Passenger Safety program based out of iCube. Her current role allows her to assist families and caregivers with education and resources for promoting child passenger safety, and cultivate new markets by leveraging a collaborative atmosphere between stakeholders, educators, law enforcement agencies and volunteers.
In her free time, Liz volunteers with groups such as Susan G. Komen and TNAchieves. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and fur babies, traveling and taking various weekend trips, and being outside exploring nature trails, finding waterfalls and kayaking.
