Requirements for Post-Baccalaureate (Graduate) Students
The Office of Teacher Education (OTE) facilitates the process of obtaining a teacher license and requires a separate admission process from the university.
Prior to OTE Admission, all candidates must be admitted to Tennessee Tech through the College of Graduate Studies. Please click below to apply for admission:

Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Education candidates should begin and complete the steps below during their first enrolled semester.
Note: OTE Admission is a prerequisite to enroll in most of the courses outlined in your Program of Study.

Step 3 / Complete & Submit the Interview Request Form

Step 4 / Complete Disposition Process
Please submit the form below:
Disposition Self-Assessment & Request Form
You must list two instructors as "raters" for the Disposition; one must be an education content instructor. The PassKey to access the form is OTEDispo.
