ABET Accreditation
ABET is a nonprofit, non-governmental agency that accredits college and university programs in the disciplines of applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. ABET accredits over 3,100 programs at more than 670 colleges and universities in 24 countries.
ABET accreditation is guided by industry, government, and academic constituents. Their process of accreditation ensures that programs equip their students to meet the standards set by professionals in their respective fields.
The Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission(s) of ABET, under the general criteria and the program criteria for chemical, biochemical, biomolecular and similarly named engineering programs.
The program has been accredited since 1970.
