January 2025 - Welcome Maggie and Jennifer
The Human Resources Department is excited to welcome Maggie Worley and Jennifer Zimmerman as HR Specialists starting January 2, 2025.
Maggie graduated from Tennessee Tech in 2024 with a degree in Business Management. As she was finishing her degree, she also worked as a baker and a travel agent in her own businesses. This experience gives her a well-rounded background in business administration, customer relations, and problem-solving.
As an HR Specialist, Maggie will be responsible for recruitment and hiring in the following areas:
- College of Business
- College of Education & Human Sciences
- College of Engineering
- School of Nursing
- Planning & Finance
- ITS
- President’s Office
- Provost’s Office
- Records & Registration
- Research & Econ Development
Jennifer graduated from California State University with a degree in Journalism with an option in Public Relations. She has worked for the last several years as a freelance writer and editor, which gave her writing, editing, and design experiences for a variety of clientele and industries. This experience translates into robust customer service, engagement, and communication skill sets.
As an HR Specialist, Jennifer will be responsible for recruitment and hiring in the following areas:
- College of Ag & Human Ecology
- College of Arts & Sciences
- College of Fine Arts
- College of Graduate Studies
- College of Interdisciplinary Studies
- University Library
- University Advancement
- Athletics
- Enrollment and Communication
- Student Affairs
Both HR Specialists, Maggie, and Jennifer, will be visiting each of their areas of responsibilities to introduce themselves over the next few weeks.
