Parent Association Scholarships

We understand that communication is a key piece to parents and families' ability to help support their students while in college. However, we also realize that financial assistance is often another barrier to students' ability to be successful while enrolled. As part of the Parent Association's commitment to students' success, we work to assist as many members' students as possible through financial assistance in the form of one-time scholarships. Under the direction of the Association's Board of Trustees, we have raised funds to establish and endow Parent Association scholarships.

Award Process & Scholarship Eligibility

Parent Association scholarships are awarded annually to members’ students based on a lottery selection process managed by the University’s Scholarship Office. Members’ students must complete the annual university scholarship application each year to be eligible for Parent Association scholarships. Award amounts and number of scholarships available are determined by the Association’s Board of Trustees ahead of each award year.

To be eligible for a Parent Association scholarship, students must:

  • Have a parent or family member that is a currently active member of the Tennessee Tech Parent Association at either the Purple, Gold, or Legacy level
  • Complete the University Scholarship Application (via ScholarWeb) by the December 15 deadline and check the box acknowledging that a parent or family member is a current Parent Association member
