Student Organizations

The College of Engineering at Tennessee Tech has many clubs, organizations and competitive teams to provide opportunities for networking, professional development, and community services. Participation is a great way to connect with peers who share your interest, and also helps you stand out when it comes to the job search.

Our annual Student Success Fair, hosted jointly with the Engineering Joint Council, provides the perfect opportunity to learn more about the 30+ engineering-specific student organizations we offer. Held in September, the fair offers a one-stop-shop for discovering the student groups that match your interests and meeting their representatives. We also provide information on the services that complement your academic career.

Purpose: The Water Professionals chapter at Tennessee Tech University is a not-for-profit student organization for those interested in the water resources/environmental engineering and sciences fields related to water. The water industry offers a variety of diverse career options in water resources, water/wastewater treatment, hydrology, dams, flood plain management, academia, and more. Our chapter aims to provide networking, research, and knowledge development opportunities in the above-mentioned fields of the water industry. We also strive to host education and outreach events for the public. Through this organization, scholarships, internships and career opportunities are shared with students. This organization is an effective pathway to gain out-of-classroom knowledge about the various fields of water, while connecting with students and professionals in the industry.
