Food Pantry Dedication
The food pantry has been dedicated in honor of Michelle Huddleston. A
hallmark of Michelle's service to Tech is her leadership overseeing the university
food pantry, including during the aftermath of the March 2020 tornadoes and the COVID-19
pandemic. When Tech students had to isolate due to COVID-19, Michelle teamed up with
Residential Life, Health Services and Chartwells to make sure no one went without
meals while in quarantine. She helped build a system to ensure students had meals
and snacks for their dorm rooms or off-campus apartments, calling the program "Meals
on Wings."
