Freshman
You're a freshman if you are a high school student getting ready to graduate, or if you have graduated from high school but haven’t attended college.
- Pay $25 application fee (this is a one time fee, if paid previously it counts towards your current application)
- Submit your high school transcript (Where to send transcripts?)
- Submit your ACT/SAT scores
- Any additional materials required will be communicated via email

Transfer
You're a transfer if you have attempted college course work since graduating high school.

Readmission
You're a readmission student if you have previously been enrolled at Tennessee Tech.

Dual Enrollment/Joint Enrollment/Early Admission
You are part of a high school program if you are a dual enrollment, joint enrollment, or early admission student.

- Submit letter of recommendation from your high school counselor

Where To Send Transcripts?

The fastest way for us to process your transcript is for your institution to send us an electronic version to transcripts@tntech.edu. Transcripts must be sent directly from your institution to be considered official. If you would like to send them via mail, send to the following address:

Admission Requirements

Applying to be a student at Tennessee Tech is a quick and seamless process! Processing typically takes as little as 3 to 5 business days once all required documents are received, depending on time of year. We encourage students to apply early as all students must be admitted in order to apply for scholarships.
