Requirements
Applying to be a student at Tennessee Tech is a quick and seamless process! Processing typically takes as little as 3 to 5 business days once all required documents are received, depending on time of year. We encourage students to apply early as all students must be admitted in order to apply for scholarships.
Freshman
A freshman is a student who will be graduating soon from high school, or has recently graduated, but has not attended college after their high school graduation.
Transfer
A transfer is a student who has completed college credit after graduating from high school. Transfers who have completed less than 24 transferable hours are also evaluated by freshman admission requirements.
Readmission
Any student who has completed coursework at Tennessee Tech in the past and wishes to return is considered a readmission student.
Non-Degree Seeking
If you want to take a class for personal enrichment, take a prerequisite for a graduate program, pursue an add-on endorsement for a teaching license, or earn a craft certificate, you are a non-degree seeking student.
