Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM)
The Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote the scientific study of the principles governing organized efforts in industrial and economic life through the study and application of management theory and practice. The club supports professional development of its members with guest lectures, fund-raisers, social events, and community service. In the spring, members will also have the opportunity to attend the SAM International Conference and compete in the case competition.
Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools. Inducted as students, BGS members go on to serve in critical leadership roles in corporate, entrepreneurial, government, non-profit, and academic sectors. Membership in this organization represents national recognition of scholastic achievement. Membership is by selection and invitation, and those eligible include students who rank in the upper 7% of the junior class, the upper 10% of the senior class, and the upper 20% of the graduate class.
