Civil Engineering Materials Laboratories
The Civil Engineering Materials Laboratories serve a dual function. The primary function is undergraduate instruction in basic civil engineering materials course (CEE 3030). The labs also are used in applied research. The primary research use is to evaluate the change in concrete plastic and hardened properties resulting from alterations to concrete mixture design. The secondary research use is evaluation of aggregate properties related to field performance on highways.
