About Us
Tau Beta Pi is the nation’s oldest engineering honor society founded in 1885 at Lehigh University. Tau Beta Pi recognizes students in all fields of engineering for their excellent academic achievements and exemplary character. The Tau Beta Pi chapter at Tennessee Tech University was installed on February 3, 1968, and was the 127th Tau Beta Pi chapter installed in the United States.
