Research & Materials
Watch this short video to find out how to search the Archives!
- Finding Aids and Container Lists: Finding aids are detailed inventories of the collections and records including creator
history, content list, dates, years, and scope. Container lists include what is in
the collection with less detail.
- Search the Archives: This searches multiple collections and records using keywords, which can be used
instead of finding aids and container lists. Please note many of the collections
are not included, but more collections are being added.
- Digital Collections: Digital Collections contain a selection of the archives holdings that are scanned by archives or are born digital. The digital collections are rarely comprehensive, but are curated materials from select collections located in University Archives & Special Collections. Comprehensive collections include some university publications.
- Locating Primary Sources for Research Papers: These sources require researchers to understand using catalogs, finding aids, and
digital materials for best access.
