Degree Details

Geoscience is the study of materials that make up the planet Earth, the processes that act on these materials, the products formed, and the history of the planet and its life forms. It includes studying the composition of rocks, minerals, fossils, soils, surface and groundwater, and the atmosphere through fieldwork, laboratory analysis, computer modeling and geospatial analysis. With geographic information systems becoming an increasingly important part of our everyday lives, job opportunities in this field are rapidly increasing.
