Health Sciences
Tennessee Tech University provides several academic programs and concentrations for students pursuing careers within the health sciences. We offer academic pathways (also known as "career tracks") for students seeking degrees within health care (such as our bachelor of science in nursing) or pursuing post-baccalaureate programs in dentistry, health information management, medical technology, medicine, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physician assistant, physical therapy, and veterinary medicine.
Our career tracks allow students to navigate academic coursework towards careers within health professions and, in some cases, preparing them for an advanced, professional degree after their bachelor's degree.
Throughout your pursuit towards your degree at Tech, you will remain immersed in a series of hands on experiences, student clubs, organizations, and research opportunities that is guided through faculty and professional advisement. For students pursuing post-baccalaureate programs (professional schools), you'll also be assisted through the steps to apply for these programs while you complete your degree.
