Degree Details

A degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Economics prepares students to teach economics and business courses at the high school level. The curriculum is designed to provide graduates with a foundation of teaching skills, the use of instructional technology, coupled with in-depth content knowledge in the field of economics. Students in licensure programs also engage in extensive clinical experiences in public schools for hands-on training, professional collaboration, and classroom management.
