Degree Details

A degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Speech Communication and Theatre prepares students to teach these exciting, interactive classes at the high school level. The curriculum is designed to provide graduates with a foundation of teaching skills, the use of instructional technology, coupled with in-depth content knowledge in these subjects. Students in licensure programs also engage in extensive clinical experiences in public schools for hands-on training, professional collaboration and classroom management.
