Our purpose in Human Ecology is to prepare professionals to be effective agents for the well-being of children, families and communities.
Here, our rich historic traditions blend with current academics to prepare students for diverse careers.
Five Programs of Study are available:
• Child Life
• Human Development and Family Science
• Nutrition and Dietetics
• Architecture and Interior Design
• Fashion Merchandising and Design
Note: The School of Human Ecology is currently not admitting new students to its undergraduate Child Life program. We are in process of transitioning to a MS in Child Life, which is planned to start Fall 2026.
