Faculty Hiring

The university’s Department of Computer Science has an ABET-accredited program in computer science with 19 full-time faculty members and approximately 600 students across its undergraduate and graduate programs. The department conducts comprehensive teaching and research in both basic and applied aspects of computer science. Research activities are broadly categorized into cybersecurity, data science, and high performance computing.

Ranked as the number one public university in Tennessee by Money Magazine, Tennessee Tech is home to the Cybersecurity Education, Research and Outreach Center (CEROC). CEROC is an NSA/DHS accredited Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education and offers the largest federal CyberCorps Scholarship for Service program in the state.
