Rising high-school freshmen through graduated seniors (ages 14 through 18) are eligible to attend. Auditions are not required for acceptance, although students should have a basic understanding of their instrument of study.

The Tennessee Tech Summer Music Institute Dates and Info

Spring 2024

The TN Tech Summer Music Institute is an immersive five-day summer festival focused on large ensemble and chamber music experiences for band, orchestral, choir, piano students.

Rising high-school freshmen through graduated seniors are eligible to attend. Auditions are not required for acceptance, although students should have a basic understanding of their instrument of study and will audition for ensemble placement on the first day of the festival.

Open to all students (voice, strings, piano, woodwinds, brass, and percussion)

Tuition and Registration Details

475.00: Full Tuition (includes overnight dorm and meal costs)
375.00: Commuter Tuition (no overnight stays and only lunch provided. Must live within 30 minutes of Tech)

Early Bird Registration: Receive $25 off of tuition cost when you register before March 15, 2024.

Registration Deadline is May 10, 2024.
