Health on Campus
Where do students go if they get sick?
All students can go to the on campus clinic called Health Services for FREE but students must make an appointment. It is located on the left side of Bell Hall (the Nursing Building on the far side of the quad). Also, they prescribe basic medicines and sell them at a very low cost for students.
If the Health Services clinic is closed, then students can go to other walk-in clinics in the Cookeville area. If there is an emergency, there is a hospital approximately one block from campus. For immediate assistance call 911.
Tennessee Tech also offers Counseling services for students at the Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness in the RUC 307. They offer counseling to students who are having any problems with stress, relationships, depression, or any other problems that you may have. You can contact them anytime for FREE. To schedule an appointment, contact them by phone at 931-372-3331 or go by their office in the RUC 307.
