Most tutoring services are coordinated by our Testing and Learning Center with access
to services made available in TechConnect for appointment scheduling and/or request
if tutoring option is not available for a specific course. Most common courses do
have tutors established already; however, depending on the demand, some courses may
require the Tutoring Center to coordinate a tutor for a specific request.

The College of Engineering coordinates additional tutoring and Supplemental Instruction
(SI - peer-led group study sessions) options for students within its college's academic programs. Note: These dates and times are subject to change.
The College of Engineering Tutoring is located in various locations depending on the
subject and course (e.g., Clement Hall room 208, McCord Hall, and Brown 303). Appointments
should be made through TechConnect.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) - Spring 2025
Speak with the instructor of the course and section below (or check your syllabus)
regarding additional information related to SI group study sessions outside of class
meeting times/days.

Chemistry Department Tutoring - Assistance with homework and studying for exams is available for free in the Lab Science Commons room 1307 Monday through Thursday during fall and spring

Lab Science Commons room 1307 serves as a general study hall space for CHEM 1110 and
1120 students.
In addition to the faculty times posted below, LSC 1307 is directly across the hall
from most of the General Chemistry faculty. Students are encouraged to ask questions
even when faculty are not scheduled for study hall hours. General Chemistry Faculty
have an “open door” policy, so as long as our door is open, you are welcome to come
by and ask whatever questions you may have about the course.

The Math Emporium enables students to learn through self-paced practice, which is the main step to
improving math skills. Tutors are available to assist you with homework and test prep.
Utilizing the Math Emporium as much as possible can help students improve their math
competency and confidence.

for this semester for students enrolled in Math 1710 - Pre-Calculus Algebra, Math 1720 - Pre-calculus Trigonometry, Math 1910
