Mary Walker (Exercise Science & Physical Wellness '21) realized her senior year of high school that she wanted to support and advocate for individuals with special needs. Through campus opportunities, hands-on experiences, and career guidance, she's continued her education in pursuit of a doctorate in occupational therapy.

The Center for Career Development is the university’s centralized career planning
and development and student recruitment center. We connect students and alumni with
employers by offering our Career Readiness Certificate, hosting workshops, conducting
on-campus interviews, annual career fairs, and coordinating the cooperative (Co-op)
education program, which provides students with real-world work experience in their

Caleb Savage Caleb Savage (Nursing '18) knew what he wanted to do once he completed his degree
at Tennessee Tech. Growing up in the local area, he wanted to provide care to those
in need. Rebekah Preshong Rebekah Preshong (Chemical Engineering '21) grew up in a community that had a Fortune
500 company in her backyard. After deciding to attend Tennessee Tech, she immediately
started getting involved in Center for Career Development events like career fairs
to explore internship opportunities.
