TLC Testing - Test-Takers

You must arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled exam time.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your exam time, you must either schedule a new time or deduct the amount of time you were late from your exam time.

Example: You scheduled your exam for 2pm and it will last an hour. You showed up at 2:25pm. You can either schedule a new time or take your exam with only 35 minutes to take it.

If you fail to show up for an exam (no-show), then you must schedule a new time. No-shows forfeit a refund of exam fees paid through RegisterBlast.

Test-takers must schedule their exam in RegisterBlast at least 24 hours in advance because we finalize the seating chart, accommodations, exams, passwords, and materials the night before. 

You can use RegisterBlast 24-7, even if we are not open.

If you cannot schedule your exam because you missed the availability window, please contact your professor and ask for an extension.

You must reschedule your exam at least 2 hours before your exam time.

If it is less than 2 hours before your exam time, you will need to schedule a new exam time (not reschedule). If the system does not let you schedule again, please email tlc@tntech.edu with a screenshot of your error. 

If you need to reschedule the exam past the exam window, you must contact your professor to extend the exam window.

You must cancel your exam at least 12 hours before your exam time. Doing so within that time frame will refund any paid exam fees minus a $5 cancellation fee. Failure to cancel within that time frame will forfeit a refund of any paid exam fees.
