ID Requirements
A primary ID to take your exam (required)
You must bring a passport OR an ID issued by the United States government (driver's license, state ID, or military ID).
Whichever primary ID you bring, it must satisfy all these requirements:
- is physical (not digital)
- has your photo on it
- has your signature on it
- is current and unexpired
- has an expiration date that occurs after your exam day (an expiration date of 00/00/0000 does not count)
A secondary ID to use a locker
99.9% of test-takers need a locker because they arrive with prohibited items. If you do not have a secondary ID, you can still take your exam using your primary ID without using a locker. We will not hold items for you and are not responsible for your possessions; that is why we have lockers.
Your secondary ID must have your legal name on it, which matches the name on your primary ID. Some common examples of secondary IDs include university ID card, medical insurance card, auto insurance card, voter registration card, hunting/fishing license, or work ID.
To protect your information, we DO NOT ACCEPT Social Security cards, bank/credit cards,
or birth certificates.
