Timeline for Transfer & Graduate Students

The following deadlines apply only to new incoming transfer and graduate students. For every year after your first semester at Tech, you will be required to complete the Scholarship application by the December 15 deadline of the prior year.

 

Spring 2025 Entry Term

Beginning January 5, 2024	Apply for Admission to Tennessee Tech for the Spring 2025 term
Beginning August 1, 2024	Apply for Scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year.
December 15, 2024	Deadline to apply for admission for Tech Transfer Pride eligibility
January 15, 2025	Deadline to provide college transcripts for scholarship consideration Deadline for letters of recommendation to be submitted through ScholarWeb Recommended deadline to complete 2025-2026 FAFSA for scholarship consideration May be extended if FAFSA is delayed
October 1, 2024–January 15, 2025	Scholarship Awarding will take place on a rolling basis. Check your Tennessee Tech email account frequently during this period to ensure you accept any scholarship offers by the deadline given. *Departmental scholarships may be awarded before or after these dates

 

Summer/Fall 2025 Entry Term

Beginning August 15, 2024	Apply for Admission to Tennessee Tech for the Fall 2025 term Apply for Scholarships (Students who submit their scholarship application by January 15 will have a greater chance of consideration for departmental scholarships.)
January 15, 2025	Priority deadline to submit 2025-2026 scholarship application for maximum consideration for competitive scholarships. Priority deadline to complete FAFSA for maximum scholarship consideration.
May 1, 2025	Deadline to apply for scholarships Deadline to apply for admission for guaranteed Tech Transfer Pride Scholarship eligibility.
June 1, 2025	Deadline to provide college transcripts Deadline for letters of recommendation to be submitted through ScholarWeb
Ongoing	Scholarship awarding will take place on a rolling basis. The sooner you apply, the more likely you will be to receive certain scholarships. Check your Tennessee Tech email account frequently after you apply to ensure you accept any scholarship offers promptly. *Departmental scholarships are awarded from January 15 - March 31.
